4-6. CTL/TC Head Azimuth Adjustment
Note
The CTL/TC head azimuth adjustment is closely related to the head position adjust-
ment and head height adjustment.
Be sure to perform adjustments (or checks) according to "In case the adjustment is
performed" in this section when the CTL/TC head azimuth is adjusted.
Equipment
. Oscilloscope
Tool
. Alignment tape YR2-1A:
Preparation
1. Turn the Power Off
2. Connect the Oscilloscope
CH-1: TP11/FM-75 board (PB CTL signal)
CH-2: TP16/FM-75 board (R-SYNC signal)
3. Set the Alignment Tape
Set the YR2-1A and put a weight (about 1000 g)
on the cassette so that it does not rise up.
