4. Turn the Power On
5. Set the unit into the line mode
6. Play Back the Alignment Tape
Play back the YR2-1A (IDR: 200000 to 230000)
with the REC head. (R FWD mode)
6. Check the Drum Head Height
(1) Set the unit into the tracking adjustment
mode.
(Refer to Section 1-11.)
(2) Operate the tracking setting value to bring the
RF (REC A) output level to the maximum.
Take this tracking setting value as "A".
(3) As well as step 2, take the tracking setting
values that maximize the RF output of REC
C, REC E and REC G as C, E and G respec-
tively.
Check that each setting value specifies the
following specification.
Specification: The differences between G, E and
G and between A are respectively
within 5 steps.
Perform this check after replacing the upper drum
assembly, when the specification is not satisfied,
reinstall the upper drum assembly.
(Refer to Section 3-2.)
(4) Press the switch S110 (ESC) on the DSP-90
board twice to exit the tracking adjustment
mode.
