5-15. RF Adjustments

5-15-1. RF PB All Adjustment (DTF-2)

Function: Continuously executes automatic adjustments in the DTF-2 mode of the RF system play-
back block.
Operation:
(1) Be sure that THRU mode is started from the maintenance terminal and connected to SYS CPU, and
"RSMODE"" is input. (LCD will display IDR: xxxxxx) (Refer to Section 5-15).
(2) Load an alignment tape (YR5-1A) into the unit.
. Proper adjustment cannot be perform with the other tape.
. For the tape address used for the adjustment, the unit will select the appropriate position .
(3) Confirm that "Bank Address decided!!" is displayed in the maintenance terminal.
(4) Enter "RF01"", the following messages will be displayed and the adjustment will start automatical-
ly

(5) If the adjustments is successful, the screen displays "Adjust complete" and the tape is ejected.
. If error rate is resulted in "NG" in the check process after adjustments, "Check...NG!" messages be
displayed to start automatic adjustments again.
If "Please redo the adjustment" is displayed, perform the adjustment again as described in the
operation.
(6) When completed, be sure to store such adjustments data in the NV-RAM (nonvolatile memory). For
this purpose, execute "RF07"".
