Comp.Mode
Set whether to compress during writing or not.
. ON : Compresses the data.
. OFF : The data is not compressed.
[Default] OFF
2. Log File
In the log file, SCSI command and execution results for every operation are output-
ted.
The log file is stored in the folder with the "SCSITOOL" file.
The log file name set when the software is started is "0000.log". Thereafter, each
time"AGING" is executed, the name is set as 0001 → 0002 →...
Output Method
The output contents are as follows, as shown in Fig. 11-2.

. Start time
. Host adapter number
. Target ID
. Vendor name, model, version
. Parameter setting value
Outputs the values of each parameter when executing aging.
. Executed SCSI command and results
If the SCSI command name and results are OK, outputs "OK".
If bad, details are output.
. Bad spot number after writing/reading, etc.
As the value of the bad spot number, etc., the value before starting writing/reading
and value when writing/reading ended are outputted.
