5-5. UPDATE Mode

5-5-6. SV CPU

Function: Transfers data from the maintenance port to update the SV CPU.
Operation: Enter "13"".
As a firmware data request message, "Loading application......", is displayed, then transfer the firmware
data to SV1CPU.
Once this data transfer is completed, a message "Loading loader.....", will appear on the screen when the
loader automatically load the firmware data ready to start updating.
If the firmware data is loaded successfully and its check message, "Checking......" , results in "OK",
current screen changes to the display "Programming......".
Thus, data writing to ROM of SV1CPU is realized.
When finally messaged as "Done" by the message "Programming......", it means writing to SV1 ROM has
completed.
Further continue to update the SV2CPU firmware in the same manner as SV1 above.
Make sure of the new version of done of SV1CPU and SV2CPU ROM respectively, initializing the set
again.
If a result of a message "Checking......" and/or "Programming......" be Error, perform updating again
keeping the power on of the unit as it is.

Be noted that the firmware data format is not the same to one used under "1: From maintenance port", or
"2: From tape" of the update menu.
