1-11-2. Starting/Ending the Line Mode

Starting the Line Mode
1. Remove the front panel. (Refer to Section 1-1.)
2. Press the three switches S100 (STOP), S113 (LEFT) and S116 (RIGHT) at the same time.
Accordingly, all LED's light up and the indication of the LCD changes as follows.
3. Insert a cassette.

When the cassette compartment has been taken off, perform the procedures as follows.
(1) Place the cassette tape with the cassette and the cassette post aligned, and put a weight of around
1000g to prevent the cassette from rising.
(2) Press the switch S109 (STANDBY).
The logical format name and the ECC parity setting are displayed on the LCD.
Press a switch among five switches on the DSP-90 board (S110, S1011, S102, S103 and S104) to operate
the tape.

4: Current parity status (27P: 27 parity, 9P:9 parity)
5: Current format status (DTF1: DTF-1 mode, DTF2: DTF-2 mode)
Ending the Line Mode
Turn the power OFF.
