1. Removing the W Cleaner Assembly (Refer to steps 1 and 2 in Section 3-5.)
2. Removing the CONFI Head Assembly (Refer to step 3 in Section 3-7.)
3. Opening the SV-205 Board (Refer to Section 1-9-8.)
4. Removing the Capstan Motor
5. Installing the Capstan Motor
6. Closing the SV-205 Board (Refer to Section 1-9-8.)
7. Installing the CONFI Head Assembly (Refer to step 4 in Section 3-7.)
8. Cleaning (Capstan Motor Shaft and CONFI Head Surface)
9. Installing the W Cleaner Assembly (Refer to steps 4 through 6 in Section 3-5.)
Adjustment after Replacement
10. Confirming the Pinch Press Clearance (Refer to Section 3-10.)
11. Confirming the Tape Running (Refer to Section 4-3.)
12. Performing the CONFI Head Height (Refer to Section 4-9.)
13. Performing the Servo Adjustment
(All Motors, Tension Sensor Adj) (Refer to Section 5-9-5.)
14. Confirming the Capstan Motor Operation
(CH06: Capstan Motor Check) (Refer to Section 5-4-13.)
Note
Replace the capstan motor with the side panel of the unit down.

Preparation
1. Turn the power off and remove the power cord.
2. Remove the top panel. (Refer to Section 1-1.)
3. Remove the plate MD. (Refer to Section 1-2.)
4. Remove the cassette compartment. (Refer to Section 1-2.)
5. Remove the front panel. (Refer to Section 1-1.)
6. Remove the DPR-160 board. (Refer to Section 1-9-2.)
7. Remove the FM-75 board. (Refer to Section 1-9-2.)
8. Remove the bottom plate. (Refer to Section 1-1.)
