5. Checking and Adjusting the Cleaning
Roller Position
(1) Turn the upper drum slowly in a counter-
clockwise direction. At that time check that
the cleaning roller does not rotate. (Spec. 1)
When specification 1 is not satisfied, go to
(2).
(2) Bend the portion B of the roller arm assembly
supporting on the portion A in the direction
of arrow C.
(3) Press the iron core of the solenoid in the
arrow direction. At that time check that the
clearance between the roller lever assembly
and roller arm assembly meets the specifica-
tion. (Spec. 2)
(4) When specification 2 is not satisfied, bend
the portion B of the roller arm assembly
supporting on the portion A in the direction
of arrow D.
(5) Repeat steps (2) to (4) until specifications 1
and 2 are satisfied.
