5-4. DIAG Mode
d. R2-Cassette Compartment Switch Check
Function: Displays the state of the sensor (switch) of the cassette compartment.
Refer to the next page on the position of each sensor (switch).
Operation:
(1) Without loading any cassette, enter "R2"". The following will be displayed.

[InL-][InR-][LSize-][Exist*][Vert*][UdEnd*]

The following indicates the current status of the respective sensors. When the sensor is functioning, the
display changes from "_" to "*".
[InL-]: Cassette-in L sensor
[InR-]: Cassette-in R sensor
[LSize]: Cassette Size sensor
[Exist-]: Cassette Exist
[Vert-]: Cassette down (2) sensor
[UdEnd-]: Cassette down (1) sensor
(2) Check the following.
1 When the Cassette-in L sensor is pressed, the display changes from "[InL-]" to "[InL*]".
2 When the Cassette-in R sensor is pressed, the display changes from "[InR-]" to "[InR*]".
3 When the Cassette Size sensor is pressed, the display changes from "[LSize-]" to "[LSize*]".
(3) To end, enter " : ".
If the above fails:
. Check the corresponding sensor on the PC-70 board.
. Check the sensor input port of the CPU on the SV-205 board.
