g. CH00-Tape Run Check
Function: Checks whether the tape runs.
Operation:
(1) Load the DTF-2 cassette and then enter "CH00"". The tape running check mode is set and the
following are displayed.
SV1_DIAG=>CH00"
CH00:REW/REV/FWD/FF/STILL
H:REW/J:REV/K:FWD/L:FF/;:STILL/':':EXIT
SV1_HJKL;:=>
By entering the H, J, K, L and ";" keys, the tape runs at the speed shown below.
H: Rewind
J: Reverse
K: Forward
L: Fast Forward
" ; ": Still
" : ": Exits the tape running check mode.
(2) Check the following.
1 Check that when the H key is pressed, the pinch solenoid is turned OFF and the tape runs at high
speed in the reverse direction.
2 Check that when the J key is pressed, the pinch solenoid is turned ON and the tape runs at about x10
speed in the reverse direction.
3 Check that when the K key is pressed, the pinch solenoid is turned ON and the tape runs at about x10
speed in the forward direction.
4 Check that when the L key is pressed, the pinch solenoid is turned OFF and the tape runs at high
speed in the forward direction.
5 Check that when the " ; " key is pressed, the tape stops.
(3) To end, enter " : ".
If the above fails:
. Execute DIAG ALL CHECK.
