17.3 Front A/C Unit Evaporator, Removing
and Installing
Note
The evaporator is installed in the front A/C unit in such a way that,
in order to remove it, the A/C unit must be removed and disas‐
sembled.
– Remove the front A/C unit. Refer to

– Remove air intake housing from front A/C unit. Refer to
⇒ "18.3 Front A/C Unit, Disassembling and Assembling", page
313 .
– Remove air distribution housing with wiring harness from
evaporator housing. Refer to
⇒ "18.3 Front A/C Unit, Disassembling and Assembling", page
313 .
– Disassemble the evaporator housing far enough as is neces‐
sary to remove and install the evaporator. Refer to
