– Remove the ribbed belt. Refer to ⇒ Engine Mechanical; Rep.
Gr. 13 .
– Remove the bolt -1- from the clamp for the refrigerant lines.
Note
Disregard item -2- .
– Remove the EGR Cooler Switch-Over Valve - N345- -1- from
the bracket and disconnect the connector.
– Remove the A/C Compressor Regulator Valve - N280- from
the bracket and disconnect the connector -2-.
Caution
Risk of damaging condenser, refrigerant lines and hoses.
♦ Do not stretch, kink or bend refrigerant lines and hoses.
– Remove the bolts -3- and -4- .
– Remove the refrigerant lines and move them to the side. Refer
to
⇒ "15.3 Refrigerant Lines, Disconnecting from Compressor
and Connecting", page 250
Note
Seal open pipes and connections on the compressor with suitable
caps (to dirt and moisture from entering).
– Remove the bolts -arrows-.
– Remove the compressor.
