20 - Diagnostic Socket
❑ Perform On Board Diagnostic (OBD) on A/C system. Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester via the "Guided
Fault Finding" function.
21 - Vent to Left Front Door (Driverside Doors)
❑ Not installed on all vehicles (currently installed only on vehicles with "Comfort" version A/C system without
"rear A/C system" optional equipment)
❑ Air duct to vent in "B" pillar on vehicles with "Comfort" version A/C system without rear A/C system.
❑ For removing and installing vent, refer to ⇒ Body Interior; Rep. Gr. 70 .
22 - Instrument Panel Vent, Left
❑ For removing and installing instrument panel vents, refer to ⇒ Body Interior; Rep. Gr. 70 .
23 - Vent to Left Front Door Window (Driverside Doors)
❑ For removing and installing vent, refer to ⇒ Body Interior; Rep. Gr. 70 .
24 - Driver Information System (DIS) in Instrument Cluster
❑ With Outside Air Temperature Display - G106-
❑ The outside temperature calculated by the Instrument Cluster Control Module - J285- is displayed (the
value output by the Climatronic Control Module - J255- front A/C control head is also used in the calcu‐
lation). Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester via the "Guided Fault Finding" function.
❑ If temperature display is faulty, check the measured values of the Outside Air Temperature Sensor - G17-
and Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor - G89- . Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester via the "Guided
Fault Finding" function.
❑ The measured value of the Outside Air Temperature Sensor - G17- is evaluated by Instrument Cluster
Control Module - J285- and transmitted via Comfort CAN-Bus system to the Climatronic Control Module
- J255- front A/C control head. Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester via the "Guided Fault Finding" function.
25 - Indirect Ventilation Door Motor - V213-
❑ Only installed on vehicles with a "Comfort" version A/C system
