Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor G89 , Removing And Installing; Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor G89 , Re- Moving And Installing - Audi Q7 2007 Repair Manual

– Mark the installation position of coupling rod -D- and remove
it from the control motor -B-.
– Disconnect the connector -C- from the Recirculation Door Mo‐
tor - V113- .
– Remove the bolts -A-.
Installing
– Check the version of the Recirculation Door Motor - V113-
-B- and remove it.
– Check the functionality of the installed control motor. To do
this, switch ignition on and actuate the control motor through
the different settings on the Climatronic Control Module - J255-
front A/C control head so that it moves from fresh air mode into
air recirculation mode and back again into fresh air mode (only
necessary on vehicles with "Basic" version A/C control head).
– Check the DTC memory for the Climatronic control module -
J255- A/C control head and erase any faults displayed if
necessary. Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester via the "Guided
Fault Finding" function. (only on vehicles with the "Comfort" A/
C system)
– Perform basic setting (and output Diagnostic Test Mode
(DTM) if necessary) on the A/C system. Use the Vehicle Di‐
agnostic Tester via the "Guided Fault Finding" function. (only
on vehicles with the "Comfort" A/C system)
– Install the remaining removed components again in reverse
order.

– Remove the instrument panel trim under the glove compart‐
ment: Refer to ⇒ Body Interior; Rep. Gr. 70 ; Instrument Panel;
Instrument Panel, Removing and Installing .
– Rotate the Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor - G89-
-A- in direction of arrow approximately 90°.
– Disconnect harness connector -B- from the Fresh Air Intake
Duct Temperature Sensor - G89- .
– Remove the Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor - G89-
from the housing.
Installing
– Check the seal -C- for damage and proper fit on the Fresh Air
Intake Duct Temperature Sensor - G89- .
– Insert the Fresh Air Intake Duct Temperature Sensor - G89-
into the mount -D-
– Install the remaining removed components again in reverse
order.
– Check the DTC memory for the Climatronic Control Module -
J255- A/C control head and erase any faults displayed if
necessary. Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester via the "Guided
Fault Finding" function.
