9.24 Right Heater Core Covers, Removing
and Installing, Front A/C Unit Installed
Removing
– Remove the lower right instrument panel trim. Refer to ⇒ Body
Interior; Rep. Gr. 70 ; Instrument Panel; Instrument Panel,
Removing and Installing .
– Remove the bolt -A-.
– Disengage the cover -B- from mounts -C- and from wiring har‐
ness secured to upper side.
Installing
– Install the removed components again in reverse order.
9.25 Right Center Vent Motor - V111- , Re‐
moving and Installing
Note
Only installed on vehicles with a "Comfort" version A/C system

On vehicles with "Basic" version A/C system, the doors for left

and right side vents as well as doors for left and right center
vents are operated by Left Side Vent Motor - V299- (left and
right doors are connected to each other via the shaft respec‐
tively, both shafts are connected to a lever). Refer to
⇒ "12.2 Air Duct in Front A/C Unit", page 206
The Right Center Vent Motor Position Sensor - G137- is in‐

stalled in Right Center Vent Motor - V111- .
On vehicles with right-side steering, the Defroster Door Motor

", page 118 is also fastened to this retaining plate (for a differ‐
ent version of the retaining plate, refer to the Parts Catalog).
