– Remove the retaining plate -C- with control motors -V108- and
-V158- . Refer to
⇒ "9.9 Retaining plate with Left Footwell Door Motor V108 and
Left Temperature Door Motor V158 , Removing and Installing",
page 114 .
Note
The retaining plate -C- is installed only on vehicles with a Clima‐
tronic Control Module - J255- front A/C control head "Comfort"
version.
– Remove the bolts -A-.
Note
The bolts -C- are not loosened or removed to remove retaining
plate -B-, they are used to guide the retaining plate.
– Pull out the retaining plate -B- with control motors downward.
– Mark the connectors -D- to -F- (risk of interchange) and dis‐
connect them.
– Disengage the mount for wiring harness -G- from retaining

Note
On the "Basic" version A/C system, only the Defroster Door Motor
- V107- -H- and Left Side Vent Motor - V299- -B- are installed.
The Left Center Vent Motor - V110- -K- with the connector -F- is
only available on the "Comfort" version A/C system.
