– Repeat cooling performance test. Refer to
⇒ "13 A/C Unit, Checking Cooling Output", page 215
– Observe the display with the refrigerant circuit pressure and the activation of the A/C Compressor Reg‐
ulator Valve - N280- during the cooling output test. Did the valve -N280- activation shut off during the
cooling output test (the control current was less than 0.50 A)?
– Check DTC memory of A/C system, repair malfunctions
displayed and erase DTC memory. Use the Vehicle Di‐
agnostic Tester via the "Guided Fault Finding" function.
– Read the compressor shut-off condition and correct the
cause for the shut-off. Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Test‐
er via the "Guided Fault Finding" function.
Repeat the cooling output test.

– Read the pressure in the refrigerant circuit and the cool‐
ant fan activation in the measured value block. Use the
Vehicle Diagnostic Tester via the "Guided Fault Finding"
function.

(run at increased speed when pressure in refrigerant
circuit increases)?
