Radiator is locked on left and right sides with clips (press clips
♦
against locking mechanism -arrow- to remove). Refer to ⇒
Engine Mechanical; Rep. Gr. 19 .
Radiator is secured to the lock carrier with bolts -2- on the left

and right sides. Refer to ⇒ Engine Mechanical; Rep. Gr. 19 .
– Unscrew the bolt -2- on rear side of radiator (on bracket for
lines to power steering cooler). Refer to ⇒ Suspension,
Wheels, Steering; Rep. Gr. 48 .
– Disengage the power steering cooler -1- on A/C system con‐
denser (power steering hydraulic lines remain connected) and
set it down on lock carrier. Refer to ⇒ Suspension, Wheels,
Steering; Rep. Gr. 48 .
Note
Lines to power steering cooler must not be kinked under any cir‐
cumstances.
– Unscrew the bolt -1- on back of radiator (ATF cooler hydraulic
lines remain connected). Refer to ⇒ Automatic Transmission;
Rep. Gr. 37 .
– Press off the retaining clips -2- and -3-. Refer to ⇒ Automatic
Transmission; Rep. Gr. 37 .
– Remove the ATF cooler -4- from the radiator, the ATF lines
remain connected and secure the transmission oil cooler -B-
to the lock carrier. Refer to ⇒ Automatic Transmission; Rep.
Gr. 37 .
Note
The lines to the ATF cooler -4- must not be bent or kinked under
any circumstances.
