♦ The connection on which
the Refrigerant Temper‐
ature Sensor - G454- is
installed does not pos‐
sess a valve, therefore
the Refrigerant Temper‐
ature Sensor - G454-
may only be removed
with a discharged refrig‐
erant circuit.

The Refrigerant Temperature
Sensor - G454- was discontin‐
ued from 11/2007 as a running
change. On vehicles with the
"Comfort" A/C system, ensure
the correct allocation of the
"Comfort" version of the Clima‐
tronic Control Module - J255-
front A/C control head. Vehicles
with a 6-cylinder TDI engine, an
8-cylinder engine or a 12-cylin‐
der TDI engine but without a Re‐
frigerant Temperature Sensor -
G454- may only have the
"Comfort" version of the front
control head installed (part num‐
ber "4L0 820 043", beginning
with index letter "K"). Refer to the
Parts Catalog.
