4 - Belt pulley
❑ Rubber element of pulley disengages when torque is too-high (for example, compressor produces fric‐
tion) and pulley runs freely without driving the compressor.

Note
Under certain conditions (for exam‐
ple, rough engine idle), rubber ele‐
ment of pulley can disengage with‐
out a malfunction existing at
compressor or in refrigerant circuit.

❑ There are different versions are installed, depending on engine version and country version of vehicle.

❑ Clean compressor flange before sliding on pulley.
