Note
From MY 2014, a Coolant Shut-
Off Valve - N82- is installed on
certain engines without the op‐
tional "parking heater".
The coolant shut-off valve -N82-
is activated by the Climatronic
Control Module - J255- front A/C
control head (via the Engine
Coolant Shut-Off Valve Relay -
J541- ), when no heat is desired
in the passenger compartment.
Refer to Wiring diagrams, Trou‐
bleshooting & Component loca‐
tions and use the Vehicle Diag‐
nostic Tester via the "Guided
Fault Finding" function.
The Heater Coolant Shut-Off
Valve - N82- is activated by the
Auxiliary Heater Control Module
- N279- when requested by the
climatronic control module -
J255- on vehicles with the op‐
tional "parking heater" and a
motor on which a coolant shut-off
valve -J255- would be activated
(observe the parking heater
adaptation). Refer to the Vehicle
Diagnostic Tester via the "Gui‐
ded Fault Finding" function.
