preselector on "HI") for the driver side and front passenger
side.
– Set the Climatronic Control Module - J255- front A/C control
head (and the Rear A/C Display Control Head - E265- , if
present) to fresh air blower speed approximately 30% of max‐
imum performance.
– The Fresh Air Blower - V2- (and the Rear Fresh Air Blower -
V80- , if present) operate at a speed in the lower performance
range.
– On vehicles with a parking/auxiliary heater, switch on the park‐
ing/auxiliary heater briefly.
– Let engine run approximately two minutes at increased idle
speed (approximately 2000 to 2500 RPM).
– Switch off ignition and check coolant level in coolant expan‐
sion tank, adding coolant if necessary. Refer to ⇒ Engine
Mechanical; Rep. Gr. 19 ; Coolant System .
WARNING
♦ The coolant circuit is under pressure. When opening cool‐
ant expansion tank, hot steam or hot coolant may flow out,
therefore cover sealing cap with a cloth and open careful‐
ly. Refer to ⇒ Engine Mechanical; Rep. Gr. 19 ; Coolant
