From MY 2011, this vehicle has
a Start/Stop System for specific
engines as optional equipment.
Pay attention to the correct ver‐
sion, coding and adapting for the
Climatronic Control Module -
J255- front A/C control head on
these vehicles. Refer to the Parts
Catalog. Use the Vehicle Diag‐
nostic Tester via the "Guided
Fault Finding" function.
On vehicles with a start/stop sys‐
tem, the Coolant Recirculation
Pump - V50- is turned on by the
climatronic control module -
J255- during the stop function
when more heating output is re‐
quired in the passenger com‐
partment. Use the Vehicle Diag‐
nostic Tester via the "Guided
Fault Finding" function.
On a vehicle with a start/stop
system and a parking-/auxiliary
heater, pay attention to the cor‐
rect version, coding and adapt‐
ing of the parking-/auxiliary heat‐
er (for the Auxiliary Heater
Control Module - J364- ). Refer
to the Parts Catalog. Use the Ve‐
hicle Diagnostic Tester via the
"Guided Fault Finding" function.
8 - Coolant supply to heater core in rear A/C unit

9 - Coolant return from heater core in rear A/C unit to engine
❑ The rear A/C unit is optional equipment
10 - Heat exchanger in the rear A/C unit
