Coat the O-ring seals lightly with refrigerant oil prior to instal‐

Start engine only after reassembling refrigerant circuit and if
possible only with refrigerant circuit charged.

– During and after installation of a new compressor or after add‐
ing fresh refrigerant oil to compressor on an already used
compressor (for example, after flushing the refrigerant circuit),
rotate compressor by hand approximately 10 rotations before
installing belt or before tightening driveshaft to prevent com‐
pressor damage.
– Following attachment, check routing of refrigerant pipes. They
must be inserted in holders provided and not make contact
with other components.
– Install remaining components.
If it should be necessary to start engine with refrigerant circuit
discharged, observe notes

– Evacuate and refill the refrigerant circuit. Refer to ⇒ A/C Sys‐
