6.4.16 Available Waveforms

The LMX Series® is supplied with 10 pre-
loaded waveforms but can hold a total of
200. The default content of the first 10
registers are shown in the table below.
Also shown are the waveform number
names and the waveform description
each waveform.
For waveforms with high harmonic
content – e.g. sharp transition or fast edges – the smoothing filter feature can be used to
smooth out these high frequency events to reduce over/undershoot as needed. The value
entered indicates the number of waveform data points that will be averaged to obtain a
smoother wave shape. Preview of the resulting smoothed waveform is shown on the LCD
screen.
