sulation .
♦ Exhaust pipes double clamp ⇒ Rep. gr. 26 ; Exhaust pipes/
silencers; Assembly overview - silencer .
If even when using locating pins - T10486/1- a crooked steering
wheel is determined during the road test, carry out a wheel align‐
ment check. In this case the wheel alignment test results must be
archived in the vehicle files.

Removing and installing coupling rod

Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Torque wrench - V.A.G 1332-
Removing
– Unscrew nut -arrow- and pull coupling rod -1- out from sus‐
pension strut.
