11) If the steering wheel is twisted, it must be straightened after aligning the axles!
Then carry out basic setting for steering angle sender - G85- using ⇒ Vehicle
diagnostic tester.
Note
If adjustments have been made to the suspension after a
wheel alignment check on vehicles with ESP or ABS, the
steering angle sender - G85- must be calibrated using the
⇒ Vehicle diagnostic tester.
If any changes are made to the rear wheel alignment settings,
the following driver assist systems must be recalibrated:
Lane departure warning (Audi lane assist)

Wheel alignment is necessary if:
♦ there is defective vehicle behaviour
♦ damaged components have been replaced because of an ac‐
cident,
♦ parts of the axle have been disassembled or replaced,
♦ Tyres wear on one side.
