Status Zone
The status zone contains the following general information
throughout the procedure:
• Operator identification
• Time
• Date
The status zone also displays the information button. Touching the
information button allows the operator to review donor or
procedure information and to review or modify instrument
default settings.
Task Graphics Zone
The task graphics zone displays icons representing tasks for the
instrument or operator. This zone displays two types of icons:
• Square icon boxes - Indicate active functions or steps that
the instrument undertakes (i.e., self-check, draw, or pause).
• Prompts - Provide visual cues to guide the operator through
the set-up and use of the instrument (i.e., load kit, attach
pressure cuff, or perform venipuncture).
Next to the task prompt is a check button. This button is to be
touched after the prompted activity is performed.
