Typical Maximize Red Cell Collection 2RBC-LR (SUR)
The instrument will display the animated red cell icon while the
instrument maximizes the red cell collection.
Note: The collected red cell volume displayed may temporarily
be decreased during this phase.
Typical– 2RBC-LR Product Processing (SUR)
The instrument will automatically proceed to add the red cell
preservation solution to the red cells as indicated by the animated
processing icon displayed on the touch screen.
A ratio of approximately 1 mL of red cell preservation solution is
added to 2.1 mL of absolute red blood cells.
When the addition of red cell preservation solution is complete,
the touch screen will display the Procedure Information Screen
with the remove needle prompt and check button.
