Connection Ports
A series of connection ports are located on the back of the
instrument. The ports are used to connect devices to aid the
collection process or to service the instrument.
The connection ports for general collection use are:
• Port 1 – Pressure Cuff
• Port 2 – Calibration and Vent
• Port 3 – Ethernet
• USB Port (If present)
• Port 4 – Diagnostics
• Port 5 – Barcode Scanner
Ports 2 and 4 are provided for diagnostic purposes. Only
a qualified service representative should access these ports.
Note: More information about barcode capabilities can be
found later in this chapter.
Note: The USB port may or may not be present depending on
the model number of your instrument. This port is not currently
enabled.
Connection Ports Model 4R5725
The instrument is shipped with plastic caps attached to ports 1
and 2 to help protect the ports from dust and dirt during
shipping.
