Functionally Closed Kits
When the kit checks are complete, the touch screen will display the
spike prompt and the Kit Timer. The Kit Timer will display in
(minutes and seconds) the amount of time remaining. Ensure there
is adequate time to complete all steps necessary before staring the
procedure.

Remove the cover from the spike at the end of the saline
line and spike the saline container on the saline scale.

Touch the check button to verify the saline container has
been spiked. The touch screen will then display the break
cannulae prompt.
WARNING: Failure to spike the saline solution prior to
initiating the prime sequence, may cause non-sterile air to
enter the kit. If this occurs, restart the procedure with a new
kit.
