Cuff Adjustment at Venipuncture
The cuff pressure button will appear on the touch screen after kit
prime is complete. This will allow the operator to determine
vein location and prepare for venipuncture. It is also available
during a procedure to allow the operator to adjust the cuff
pressure if necessary. The cuff pressure button is also available
during pause. Please refer to Pausing the Procedure which
appears later in this chapter for this information.
1.
Touch the cuff pressure button and the cuff pressure adjustment
overlay will appear.
2.
Inflate the cuff to the desired pressure for determining
venipuncture location and/or performing venipuncture.
