Replace the fuses by carefully inserting each holder back into
its opening in the rear of the instrument. Ensure the fuse
holders fit snugly into their proper place by gently tightening
with the screw driver.
7.
Plug the appropriate end of the power cord into the back of
the instrument.
8.
Plug the cord into an appropriately grounded outlet.
9.
Turn the instrument ON. If there is still no response, turn
the instrument OFF and contact the Hotline.
Centrifuge Compartment Door Does Not Open
The centrifuge compartment door is locked as soon as kit checks
begin and remains locked until the instrument displays the unload
kit prompt. Only under a couple of alarm conditions prior to
prime will allow the centrifuge compartment door to unlock and
allow an operator access to the centrifuge compartment to check
for proper kit installation.
If there is a need to get into the centrifuge compartment while a
procedure is in progress, the procedure must first be ended, the
donor disconnected, and the unload kit prompt displayed before the
instrument will allow access.
Follow the instructions provided below to attempt to open the
centrifuge compartment door if it will not open when it should.
1.
Press the STOP button.
2.
Attempt to open the centrifuge compartment door.
3.
If the centrifuge compartment door opens, remove the kit.
Once finished, close the door.
4.
Touch the resume button.
