ANUAL
- Check donor line for kinks or occlusions.
- Check needle placement.
- Check donor's arm.
- Encourage donor to squeeze.
- Decrease draw/return rate.
- Check the donor line; ensure that the clamp is
open.
- Check for kinks in the tubing to and from the
filter.
- Check for kinks in the tubing from the RBC
container to the cassette.
- Check for kinks in the tubing from the
preservation solution container to the cassette.
- Resume the procedure.
- Check for kinks in the tubing that is highlighted
on the screen.
- Resume the procedure.
- Check for leaks in the container that is
highlighted on the screen.
- If no leak is found, resume the procedure.
- Terminate the procedure without
reinfusion if a leak is found.
- Check that the container that is highlighted on
the screen is properly installed on the scale.
- Resume the procedure.
- Turn the instrument OFF, then back ON to
start a new procedure.
- If problem persists, contact the Hotline.
- Turn the instrument OFF, then back ON to
start a new procedure.
