If the door still will not open and there is a need to get into the
centrifuge compartment:
1.
Touch the end button or the shut down button on the stop screen
overlay (which appears after pressing the STOP button).
2.
Proceed to end the procedure and turn the instrument OFF.
3.
Attempt to open the centrifuge compartment door. If the
door opens, complete the task that required the door to be
opened. When finished, close the door.
4.
If the centrifuge compartment door still will not open, turn
the instrument back ON.
5.
Attempt to open the centrifuge compartment door. If the
centrifuge compartment door still will not open, contact the
Hotline.
Cassette Compartment Door Does Not Open
The cassette compartment door is locked as soon as kit checks
begin and remains locked until the instrument displays the unload
kit prompt. Pressing the STOP button will not unlock the cassette
compartment door if a procedure is in progress.
If there is a need to get into the cassette compartment while a
procedure is in progress, the procedure must first be ended, the
donor disconnected, and the unload kit prompt displayed before the
instrument will allow access.
WARNING: Do not open the cassette compartment door
while a donor is attached to the instrument.
Follow the instructions provided below to attempt to open the
cassette compartment door if it will not open when it should.
1.
Press the STOP button.
2.
Attempt to open the cassette compartment door.
3.
If the cassette compartment door opens, remove the
cassette. Once finished, close the door.
4.
Touch the resume button.
