Relationship Between Data Bus Widths and Control
Signals
There is a one-to-one correspondence between the
location of the bytes on the data bus regardless of the data bus width.
This section summarizes the location of the bytes on the data bus used for the specified
data bus width and the corresponding control signal for each bus mode.
■ Control Signals on the Ordinary Bus Interface
Figure 4.4-1 shows the 16-bit bus width and 8-bit bus width control signals on the ordinary bus interface.
