Figure 103: Removing a TXP-CIP
To install a TXP-CIP (see Figure 104 on page 330):
Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist, and connect

the strap to one of the ESD points on the chassis.
Grasp the TXP-CIP handle with one hand and hold the bottom edge of the TXP-CIP

with the other hand to support its weight.
NOTE: The components on the TXP-CIP are on the left side of the board,
unlike the components of a TXP-F13 SIB, which are on the right side. Verify
that the components are on the left before inserting the TXP-CIP.
Insert the TXP-CIP into its chassis slot, carefully aligning the top and bottom of the

TXP-CIP with the guides in the card cage.
Carefully push the TXP-CIP straight into the chassis until it contacts the midplane.

CAUTION: Be sure to slide the TXP-CIP straight within the slot to avoid
damaging the connector pins on the front of the midplane.
Tighten the screws at the top and bottom of the TXP-CIP faceplate.
