Solution
Verify that the fiber-optic array cables
are connected correctly.
To isolate the problem:
1.
Check the system log messages
for CRC errors on the receiving
TXP-T1600 SIB in the LCC.
2. Issue the
show chassis fabric plane
command for link errors
extensive
on the receiving TXP-T1600 SIB
in the LCC.
3. If there are CRC errors or link
errors, replace the TXP-F13 SIB.
Clean the fiber-optic cables and
fiber-optic array ports. Verify that the
fiber-optic cables are connected
properly.
1.
Clean the fiber-optic array cables
and ports on the TXP-F13 SIB and
TXP-T1600 SIB.
2. Verify that the fiber-optic array
cables are connected correctly to
the SIBs.
3. Bring the TXP-F13 SIB and
TXP-T1600 SIB online.
4. If the problem persists, isolate the
problem by methodically replacing
the each fiber-optic arrray cable,
TXP-F13 SIB, and TXP-T1600 SIB
with a spare.
5. If you are unable to isolate the
problem, contact JTAC.
To isolate the problem:
1.
Replace the TXP-F2 SIB with a
spare.
2. If the problem persists, replace the
TXP-F13 SIB with a spare.
3. If you are unable to isolate the
problem, contact JTAC.
