An LCC-CB on the T1600 router works with an adjacent Routing Engine to provide control
and monitoring functions for the router (see Figure 40 on page 96). These functions
include determining Routing Engine mastership, controlling power and reset for the other
T1600 router components, monitoring and controlling fan speed, and monitoring system
status. Each T1600 router contains up to two LCC-CBs at the upper front of the chassis.
NOTE: We recommend that you install two host subsystems for redundant
protection.
