Removing a TX Matrix Plus Left Front Air Filter

The front left air filters are located to the left edge of the TXP-F2S SIBs, and weigh less
than 1 lb (0.5 kg). To remove a front left air filter (see Figure 118 on page 351):
Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist, and connect

the strap to one of the ESD points on the chassis.
Loosen the captive screws at the top, center, and bottom of the air filter cover, using

a Phillips (+) screwdriver, number 2.
Grasp the air filter cover by the captive screws and pull firmly to remove the cover
3.
from the chassis .
Press the filter until it clears the hooks at the top and bottom of the air filter slot, then
4.
push it to the left to unseat it.
Grasp the filter being removed and carefully pull it out from the chassis.
