Troubleshooting the TX Matrix Plus Power System

Problem

During normal operation:
The blue
PEM OK
LED on each power supply is on steadily, indicating that the power
source is good and the power supplies are functional.
The
LEDs is on steadily indicating that the circuit breaker on the power supply
CB ON
is on.
The
INPUT PRESENT
LEDs lights green indicating that the input is receiving source DC
power.
The green
LEDs on the craft interface are on steadily, indicating that the power
PEM OK
supplies are functional.
The red
PEM FAIL
LEDs on the craft interface are off, indicating no faults have been
detected on the power supplies.
The following alarms, LEDs, command output, and conditions indicate a problem with
the power system:
The power supplies are automatically shut down.
NOTE: The Junos OS monitors the system temperature, and if it exceeds
a certain limit, the software triggers a red alarm, a condition that shuts
down the power supplies. If the system shuts down both power supplies,
no status is displayed on the craft interface.
An alarm indicates that the temperature of the power supply exceeds the maximum
("temperature hot") threshold.
An alarm indicates that a power supply has been removed.
An alarm indicates that the power input or output has failed.
The
LED on the power supply is off.
PEM OK
The yellow
FLT
LED on the power supply is lit indicating that the power supply detects
a fault.
A green
LED on the craft interface is off, indicating that the power supply is
PEM OK
not functional.
The red
PEM FAIL
LEDs on the craft interface is on, indicating that a fault has been
detected on the power supply.
