The TX Matrix Plus router can have up to two TXP-CBs with Routing Engines installed.
These are located in the upper right in the front of the chassis in the slots marked

. Each one weighs approximately 12.8 lb (5.8 kg).
To remove a TXP-CB (see Figure 56 on page 136):
Place an electrostatic bag or antistatic mat on a flat, stable surface.
1.
Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist, and connect
2.
the strap to an approved site ESD grounding point. See the instructions for your site.
Release the latches on the ejector handles on both sides of the TXP-CB faceplate.
3.
Flip the ejector handles outward to unseat the TXP-CB.
4.
Grasp the ejector handles and slide the TXP-CB about halfway out of the chassis.
5.
Place one hand underneath the TXP-CB to support it, and slide it completely out of
6.
the chassis. Place it on the antistatic mat.
CAUTION: Do not stack hardware components on one another after you
remove them. Place each component on an antistatic mat resting on a
stable, flat surface.
Repeat the procedure for the second TXP-CB and Routing Engine.
