The routing matrix includes up to four T1600 routers connected to a TX Matrix Plus router.
If the T1600 router is operational (passing traffic), use the procedures described in
"Overview of Upgrading and Integrating an Operational T1600 Router" on page 201.
NOTE: Do not power on the T1600 router until instructed to do so.

You must proceed through the upgrade process in the following order:
Order the hardware. The hardware upgrade kit includes two LCC-CBs and five

TXP-T1600 SIBs. The Routing Engines must be ordered separately. The rear fan tray
and power supplies, if needed, can also be ordered separately.

Prepare the installation site for the T1600 router.
