Removing the Managment Ethernet Cable

To connect the Routing Engine to a network, connect an Ethernet cable with RJ-45/RJ-45
connectors to the
ETHERNET
Matrix Plus router.
Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist, and connect

the strap to one of the ESD points on the chassis.
Press the tab on the connector and pull the connector straight out of the port. Figure
2.
107 on page 334 shows the connector.
Disconnect the cable from the network device.

Installing the Management Ethernet Cable
