Deleting the Upgrade Mode Statement

After all five TXP-T1600 SIBs have been installed, connected, and you have verified that
they are operational, delete the
Plus router and the T1600 router.
Delete the
1.
fabric upgrade-mode

Delete the
fabric upgrade-mode

at the
hierarchy level.
[edit chassis]
user@host# delete chassis fabric upgrade-mode
On both the TX Matrix Plus router and the T1600 router, verify that upgrade mode

has been deleted.
user@host# show chassis fabric upgrade-mode
Commit the configuration on both the master and the backup Routing Engines.

To connect the control planes (see Figure 89 on page 220) between the TXP-CIP and
LCC-CBs on the T1600 router ports:
Attach an electrostatic discharge (ESD) grounding strap to your bare wrist, and connect

Plug one end of a UTP Category 5 cable into the RJ-45 LCC control plane port
