Inspection of Air Conditioning
Signal.
Check for a short in the wire
lACS line) :
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect the
NC
pressure
switch 2P connector.
3. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
4. Measure vo ltage between
ECM / PCM
connector termi-
nal s Al7 and 820.
Is there battery voltage?
YES
Check for an open in the wire
(ACe tine) :
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Reconnect the
Ale
pressure
switch 2P connector.
3. Turn lhe ignition switch ON
(II).
4. Momentarily co nne ct ECMI
PCM connector terminals A17
and 820 with a jumper wire
several times.
