Starter Switch Signal
This signals the ECM/PCM when the engine is cranking.
'97 model:
Inspection of Starter Switch Sig-
nal.
Check for an open or short in the
wire ISTS line):
Measure vo ltage between PCM
connector terminals C6 and A9
with the ignition switch in the
start

YES
Starter switch stgnalls OK.
