Problem verifICation:
1.
Do
the
ECM/
PCM Reset
Pro-
cedure.
2.
Start
t
he
engine,
Ho
ld
the
engine
at
3,000
rpm
with
no
load
(in Park or
neutral)
until
th
e
radiator fan
comes
on,
then let
it idle.
3.
Hold the
en
g
ine
at
3,000
-
4,000 rpm for
at
least
60 sec-
onds.

Check for poor connections or

1.
Turn the
ignition
switch OFF.
2.
Di sconnect the knock
sensor

connector.
3.
Check
for
continuity between
ECM/PCM
connector termi-
nals
C3 and
body ground.

Repair
short
in
the
wire between

continuity?
