CHANGING THE PAPER SIZE

Changing the Paper Size in the Main Cassette or the Optional Front
Paper Feed Unit
1. Slide out the cassette until it stops. Then,
with both hands, remove it by holding it
up and lifting it out at the same time.
Note: When you pull out the cassette,
pull it out horizontally.
2. Press down the paper until it clicks into
place.
3. Take out the paper.
4. Adjust the paper fences to the paper size.
To move a fence, pinch the top lever in
and slide the fence in or out as shown.
Make sure the positions of the two side
fences match the paper size by check-
ing them against the scale printed on the
bottom of the cassette. The fences
should be aligned so that the inside
edge of each fence is just touching the
line of the scale.
Make sure the back fence is set in the
groove on the paper cassette.
