4.3.5 Front Three-Point Mounted Device

The BELARUS-921.6 tractor can be optionally equipped with the front mounted de-
vice (FMD).
The bracket 3 (Figure 4.3.8) of the front mounted device shall be installed onto
front plane of spacer 2 using two pin bushings and ten bolts, and fastened by additional
plates 1 to the side surface of the tractor half-frame. The lower links frame 16 is installed
between bracket walls on the axis 19. Then the axis is fixed on both sides by wash-
ers 17 with bolts 18. Cylinders 11 on pivots 4 are installed in the bracket 3. The cyl-
inders rods in their turn are connected by pivots 12 to the lower links frame. The tow fork
10 is fastened to the bracket 3 by bolts 9. The upper link 7 in working position is installed
into ears 5 of the bracket 3 and fastened by pivot 6.

The FMD has two working positions:
- for regular agricultural implements;
- for wide-coverage agricultural implements.
Changing from one position into another is performed by moving the pivots 14 into open-
ing 15. In such case the lower links 13 front ends will have small free movement.
The FMD is intended for the tractor operation as part of combined units and serves
for connection of the mounted agricultural machines of category 2, which are located in
front of the tractor.
